Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Weavu, a research tool that helps you capture and consolidate what you read. By installing or using the Weavu extension you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Weavu.

Your account

You sign in with Google or an email and password, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and use Weavu only for lawful purposes. Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or infringe others' rights or intellectual property when capturing content.

Your content

You keep ownership of the highlights, notes, and files you capture ("your content"). You grant Weavu the permission needed to store, process, and display your content so we can provide the service — including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy in order to generate summaries and capsules. You are responsible for having the right to capture and process the content you save.

AI-generated output

Weavu uses automated systems and third-party AI models to generate summaries, explanations, and capsules. These outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. Weavu links claims back to their sources so you can verify them, and you should review AI output before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use the results.

Beta software

Weavu is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Weavu is in active development; features may change and occasional interruptions may occur.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weavu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Weavu and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
